The Interfaith Food Alliance (IFA) consists of 14 faith-based communities united to combat hunger in the Morrisville (PA) School District by educating the community, advocating for those in need, and feeding families.
To address food insecurity, the IFA seeks to raise awareness about the stigma surrounding hunger and poverty.
The IFA operates the Family Backpack Center, which provides supplemental food for food-insecure families in the Morrisville School District. Volunteers run the center, which is stocked with food donations from partner communities, local farms, grocery stores, and financial contributions.
